A brand new vibrant daytime series for BBC 1, which is now getting a primetime makeover. In each episode, presenter Sarah Moore saves three things from being dumped at the rubbish tip, transforms them into bespoke and valuable pieces, then returns the profit back to the people who had no idea there was cash to be made from their trash…

Whether it be a bathtub, a stepladder or a Monopoly board, Sarah has innovative ways and exciting craftsmen on hand to redesign and upcycle the unwanted items. Armed with imagination, clever tricks and a black book of accomplished carpenters, ironmongers and designers, Sarah oversees the complete transformation of objects. The series is full of takeaway information and ideas that anyone could try at home, as well as insight into the world of professional design.

Series 4 - Episode 2

Restoration expert Jay Blades is at the recycling centre in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. His mission is to save three items before they hit the skip, and transform them into saleable items. Jay enlists the help of designer-maker Daniel Heath to transform a collection of old tiles into something special, while upholsterer Simion Hawtin-Smith is tasked with updating a conservatory sofa. Can Jay’s tip finds produce a profit to return to their unsuspecting owners?

Series 4 - Episode 1

At Witley Recycling Centre in Surrey, Sarah Moore is on the look out for three items she can salvage, spruce up and sell on for a profit. With three items successfully saved, can Sarah and the team pull off a range of tricky transformations? Robot maker Mark Haig has to work his magic on an old road light while the Bristol Upholstery Collective attempt to bring a seventies style sofa back up to date. For her own transformation Sarah takes on a set of moth-eaten blankets but will she succeed in turning trash into cash?
