Dave Grainger and his extraordinary team of restorers have taken on the most iconic vehicles and the most demanding clients, and given them both a new lease on life.

In this series, Dave is also taking his expertise, and his business partner Larry on the road: looking for the perfect flip, the ultimate barn find, or the one of a kind classic dream car that will be their next Concours project.

Series 3 - Episode 5

While David is away the Guild guys decide to surprise him by restoring and painting his most recent auction purchase – a 1953 Allis-Chalmers aircraft tug used to move airplanes around on a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier. With the weight of the tug’s wheels it takes the whole team to put them back on, and after Frank and Ron set the battery on fire trying to recharge it, they start wondering whether the surprise they’ll give David will be a bad one.

Series 3 - Episode 2

After two years, the 1936 Cord Duesenberg is almost complete, and Larry is eager to take it home. While David avoids Larry’s constant calls, Brad diligently completes the final touches – including the hood and bumpers. But when he prepares it for a test drive he can’t get the car to go into drive, only reverse. This and other problems seem to be linked to the design of the starter being under the clutch pedal. While David keeps Larry at bay, Brad races the clock to resolve the problem before Larry arrives for a test drive. Will he finally take his prize possession home?

Series 3 - Episode 1

The Guild is hopping busy and need to find more specialized mechanics, including a new apprentice. The problem is locating people who are qualified and talented enough to understand the intricacies of working on million-dollar classic cars is a challenge. Meanwhile David has to get down and dirty to help out. David and Greg outline why restoration mechanics are so challenging to find, and how it’s a dying art.
