Jo Brand is a self-confessed feline fanatic, so she’s landed firmly on her feet hosting this brand-new series about the nation’s much-loved moggies. Over 13 million people across the UK have adopted a cat into their family. But the curiosity, agility, and nose for mischief that makes us love them, also gets our troublesome tabbies into some sticky situations, and in need of our help.

Across 7 episodes we’ll follow the RSPCA inspectors, vets and volunteers who work tirelessly to save the nation’s cats from harm. From four storey falls, to cats stuck up chimneys, the RSPCA have their work cut out rescuing Britain’s moggies from danger and we’ll be following them every step of the way.

Jo will be on the front line, rolling her sleeves up for surgery duties at one of the countries busiest animal hospitals. She’ll meet owners, vets, RSPCA officers and the members of the public that have taken rescue cats into their hearts and their homes. And she’ll bring you the science behind what makes your beloved kitty one of the most impressive creatures on the planet.

Episode 3

In Wallasey, Inspector Anthony Joynes is following up on a call from a warehouse owner about a mother cat, who's choice to give birth under a disused cabin, has left her and her kittens in danger. With only days until the cabin is due to be demolished, can Anthony get the shy mum and her feral kittens out in time?

Episode 2

This week, Animal Welfare Officer Matt Brown gets called to a children outdoor play area, things don?t seem too bad for the potentially wounded moggie. However, upon closer inspection it appears there might be more to the injury than meets the eye.
